Information About New Name

We will be using Volitant assault as a name right now because it won the poll, but because of how extremely close it was, we will revisit the name of the game right before the release of the game. At that time we will take suggestions again as people seemed to not like either choice too.

Is it okay to pursue new names? If so a criteria for a name presented to us would be good.

Looking to Astronomy for some inspiration, I've come up with some ideas:

Red Shift - nothing necessarily to do with the game, but sounds cool and is easy to spell and remember, has to do with the lengthening of light under the influence of gravity over vast distances as well as its source moving away from where it is viewed (doppler). I think there's a game with this as the name but there's little to no information about it, its also close to Half-Life: Blue Shift, but means something else entirely.

Unbounded - another "easy" word, of which I don't think there are any games with this name whatsoever (just a quick search on ign). It has to do with a theory that the universe is unbounded and will expand forever. It can also double in meaning for our game, seeing as how players are somewhat unbound in the Z-axis and if RenWerX holds true to being friendly to modification of the base game it would mean that the game is also not limmited with how it can be changed/modded.

FYI, I know this may not matter since it is after the fact, but I was out of town all last week and I missed the last poll. I had thought the one before it was going to be the last. Nevertheless, my vote would have been for Ascension...which would have tied us up at 29 votes a piece. Any chance there were some some guy from Florida voting? We would definitley need to do a recount!!!!!!!

Volitant Assault sounds like if it was conjured up by someone with a gun pointed to their forehead. It just screams "we have no idea what to call this game".

Ascension is too epic, doesn't roll off the tongue at all, and the majority of people couldn't spell it to save their lives.
